Elders Action Network (EAN) is pleased to announce the keynote speaker for its August Sound Democracy Town Hall will be former Cleveland Mayor, Ohio Congressman, and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich.
At this Town Hall Dennis Kucinich will inspire us to make these midterm elections a priority to ensure voter empowerment and participation in support of a sound democracy.
As the youngest ever mayor of a major US city, he fought and beat a utility monopoly – a courageous, heroic fight that involved media cover-ups, political corruption and even death threats. He will share his knowledge and experience from aspects of his federal political career, his stint as a political contributor on Fox News, and his reputation as one of the most liberal members of the United States House of Representatives.
