Facing Callais Together: Fighting Voter Suppression

Join us for an important conversation with Andrea Miller, Executive Director of the Center for Common Ground, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to increasing voter participation and ensuring that every eligible voter has access to the information they need to make their voices heard. Through innovative outreach efforts, Andrea and her team work to engage underrepresented communities and strengthen democratic participation across the country.

In this timely program, Facing Callais Together: Fighting Voter Suppression, Andrea will examine the implications of the Supreme Court's Callais decision and the accelerating redrawing of voting districts in Southern states that threatens to diminish Black voting power. She will share how the Center for Common Ground is responding through its current campaign to provide Black voters with critical voting information and resources.

Most importantly, Andrea will offer practical ways that each of us can take action. Whether you are new to democracy work or a longtime advocate, this program will provide insight, inspiration, and meaningful opportunities to help protect voting rights and strengthen our democracy for future generations.

After registering, you will receive an email from Zoom (no-reply@zoom.us) with a unique link to join the event. Please check your email inbox.
