Elders Rising, a Center for Learning and Action, is an initiative of Elders Action Network (EAN), designed to serve as a dynamic hub for information, community engagement, and opportunities for participation in activism. Rooted in the belief that elderhood is a time of purpose and transformation, Elders Rising brings together EAN’s numerous offerings equipping elders with information, resources, tools and training.
The Center fosters community dialogue on the important issues of our time and will provide research and stories that highlight the work being done by elders. Elders Rising provides a pathway for both the curious and seasoned activist ages 55+ to explore and define what activism means in new and inspiring ways.
Elders Rising provides inspiration and equips elders to take action using their time, talents, resources and influence to address the critical issues they care most about.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore your role as an elder activist or you’ve been on this path for years, Elders Rising is your space to grow, connect, and take action.
Elders Rising brings together EAN’s many offerings — in a variety of formats including learning circles, training, action teams, and community conversations—to support you on your journey.
