Roughly 50-55 million young people (ages 18-29) can be the difference in our democracy — if, of course, they choose to turn out.  

We focus on understanding how young voters can make a difference and how we can support the programs that empower them to register, vote, and stay engaged. This year, we are launching a campaign to support two organizations whose projects have been proven effective:

• The Civics Center: “making voter registration part of every American High School experience” by supporting student-led and educator-advised voter registration drives.

• Vote Forward: writing to newly registered young voters to give them the information they often need to overcome the hurdles they can encounter — even after they are registered.
