Elder Action Circle Coaching Call
Apr 21 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am PDT
April Topic: Using Zoom for Your Elder Action Circle
We now live in the “Age of Zoom!” So, how can we connect with other elders and create meaningful conversations using Zoom?
Get your tea and snacks and find your computer. In our April Elder Action Circle Coaching Call we will discuss the best techniques for using Zoom to create meaningful conversations despite our social distance!
We have learned through conversations and surveys that our members want to build stronger connections with each other as they get into action, which is one of the prime reasons folks start or join an Elder Action Circle.
An Elder Action Circle is a great opportunity to connect with other concerned and caring elders in your community, to come together to discuss local issues, and to support each other in actions to address those issues. Do you want to work on local elections? Speak with your city council about climate issues? Stand with your local youth climate movement? This is all more interesting and effective when done with others!
With this in mind, we are inviting all of you who have participated in our workshops or have indicated an interest in beginning or joining an Elder Action Circle to an Elder Action Circle coaching call. This will be an informal online conversation where we will share the EAN Elder Action Circle resources, answer your questions, and offer an opportunity for you to be in conversation with others who are also wanting to start an EAN Elder Action Circle.
In addition, if you are already in an Elder Action Circle, we welcome you to join us and share your personal experience of being in such a group!
Please sign up here to let us know of your interest and to receive reminder emails.
There is no obligation to begin an Elder Action Circle if you attend this call; it’s just an opportunity to learn more. We hope you will join us!
