Choices for Sustainable Living Workshop
Mar 1 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am PST

March 1 – June 21, 2021
(Every other Monday)
9:00 – 11:00 am PT / 12:00 – 2:00 pm ET
(Nine online sessions via Zoom video conferencing)
Purpose of the Workshop
The term “sustainability” is used so freely, it’s difficult to understand what it can mean. At its essence, sustainability embodies hope for a healthy, just and bright future for us all. Choices for Sustainable Living provides participants with a powerful opportunity to explore sustainability more deeply and learn its unique meaning from individual, societal and global perspectives.
We will be using the inspiring workbook from ecochallenge.org (aka Northwest Earth Institute). Sessions are highly interactive for participants and will be facilitated by an enthusiastic team. You will discover new ways to make change more possible and powerful, both individually and in community.
The time to complete the course material in the two weeks between each session will be 2-3 hours, more or less.
“I find that I think about things more—things I buy, things I eat, things I throw out. I see a much larger picture now, and I realize more than ever that I am a very important part of that picture.” — EAN Member, Portland, Oregon |
